Back at Home!

I’m back home after a very successful and fun 15 day trip to Japan! It was a little vacation and a little work, which was a good mixture because I got to relax before and after gigging.  I did my first solo live concert in Yokohama on the 13th and I’m kind of thrilled that it’s over because it was 3 months of practicing and getting ready to try and give the best show I could. It went pretty well and I hope that everyone that came had a great time too!  It really meant a lot to me that everyone gave me so much support for this project…I really couldnt have do it with out everyones help so thank you to all my supporters.  Everyone that came to Yokohama or listened to InterFM radio the next day got a chance to hear songs from my solo debut album which released on September 4th.  This was a super fun project to work on and it was good to get some new originals recorded .  ManoaDNA’s new album is being worked on now so stay tuned for that.

Right now I’m fighting jetlag as always.  I feel like jetlag is always especially bad for me because I don’t sleep on the over night flight coming back home.  Yesterday I arrived back home groggy and tired as heck so naturally…I took a 3 hour nap…which probably wasn’t a good idea because I fell asleep at 12 last night and woke up at 4:00am wide awake.  Before the trip I thought I’d be man enough to gig the day after arriving home, but now that the day has come, and ManoaDNA is at Hyatt tonight, I am regretting my decision!! If you want to see a special show tonight, come down to Hyatt from 5-8 and watch me go crazy!!
